Review by Angel & Lynne

Our reviewers Angel and Lynne went down to see FM on their first live date as they prepare for their ‘Atomic Generation’ tour.
Here’s what they had to say about the show.

Well I’ve got to say that Bigfoot were a nice surprise as I’ve heard so much about them but never seen them live. They are at SOS FEST in July 13/15 2018 at Prestwich but we’re going to miss them there so was pleased to catch them on tour with FM.
Getting the crowd warmed up is not the word. They started with ‘Tell me a Lie’  and from then on you could tell they were going to have fun on stage, all five of them.
The singer had a voice not of an angel but you could see in his eyes (when he kept still long enough) a twinkle of mischief with the look of Jack Black.
They kick in to ‘Run’ by when I was starting to head bang as if I’ve got hair to do that, unlike the band. Guitars lead and rhythm kick in with a bass that shows you how tight they are as a band.Next song ‘Bitch’ really gets the crowd going.
‘Blame It On the Dog’ is a fun song, and then finishing with ‘Uninvited’ they were full of energy from start to finish.
These guys are going to be one that myself and Lynne would go see again but they need a longer set.

Set List:
Tell me A Lie
Forever Alone
The Fear
Blame It on the Dog

Enter the Mighty FM to the stage.
Steve and the boys kick off with ‘Black Magic’ the first track on the new album ‘Atomic Generation’, followed by classic track ‘I Belong to the Night’.
They stay with their older classic tracks and Steve’s vocals are sounding good as they play ‘Killed By Love’ also from the new album.
As the smoke machines kick in it shows that you don’t need to be on big arena tours to give the fans a show and  ‘Metropolis’ shows that every song tonight is going to make you come home buzzing.
There is no stopping FM and they are here to give you a show and don’t let you down as they go into one classic track after another. Though no more tracks from the new album are played the set list features many of the fan favourites including the anthemic ‘Bad Luck’, before the show ends with last track of the night ‘Does It Feel Like Love’.

Set List:
Black Magic
I Belong To the Night
Life is a Highway
Let Love Be the Leader
Killed By Love
Over You
Closer To Heaven
Blood and Gasoline
All Or Nothing
Love Lies Dying
Bad Luck
Tough It Out
That Girl
Burning My Heart Down
Story of My Life
Does It Feel Like Love
